Golden Plains Mechanical recognised as a Finalist in the Best Mechanical Light Vehicle - Regional business category in VACC Industry Awards 2019

We are delighted to announce a number of RAS members took out prestigious awards at the 2019 Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) Industry Awards (VIA) last Saturday evening in Victoria.

Grant Troy and Nicole Troy and their team at Golden Plains Mechanical for being finalists in the Best Mechanical Light Vehicle - Regional (small business) category.

Winners of the 2019 VIA were announced at the 2019 VACC Industry Awards black tie Gala Dinner, featuring master of ceremonies, Larry Emdur and a string of top-notch entertainers at Grand Hyatt Melbourne on Saturday, 22 June 2019. VACC has well over 3000 Melbourne metro businesses on their system, many of whom are eligible to try for this popular category, with a record number of entries received this year.

In recognition of the many fine businesses run by VACC members, and to promote the industry as a whole, the VACC instituted the VACC Industry Awards in 2016. Instituted in recognition of the many excellent businesses operating across the state, the VACC Industry Awards (VIA) are recognised as the highest honour a Victorian automotive business can achieve. The annual Awards are open only to VACC members and offer recognition for all industry sectors in metro and regional areas, along with special categories for general membership.

Members were encouraged to enter the VACC Industry Awards for the category or categories best suited to their business. The Awards are a great opportunity for outstanding businesses to showcase their capabilities and to market their expertise to consumers.

New and updated categories, divisions, criteria and conditions have been the focus in planning for the 2019 Awards. Many quality applications with a competitive edge had been submitted for a great chance to be crowned one of the best in 2019.
